For 10 breathtakings nights, Downtown Dubai will be transformed awash with a celebration of light, art and culture.
Watch transfixed as this urban space unfolds with a facade of colour light and art that spans the height of Burj Khalifa, the breadth of The Dubai Mall, the pathways of the Waterfront Promenade and the expanse of Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Each installation within easy walking distance of the other, making it the ‘brightest’ square kilometre on earth.
A real visual treat for the whole family, Downtown Dubai will shimmer, shine and shift into an outdoor art gallery showcasing the most amazing pieces of luminous art.
Dubai recently got a glimpse of the City of Lyon’s Festival of Lights (Fête des Lumières de Lyon) at the inaugural Dubai Festival of Lights events.
The event has been organised by Emaar Properties at Downtown Dubai. The festival offers visitors a showcase of more than 30 lighting and artistic installations until 29 March 2014.
