Airbnb is famous for its contests allowing guests to stay in some of the strangest locations you could think of – spending a night at the top of a ski jump, or another dangling 9,000 feet over a mountainside spring to mind – and their newest offering is perhaps even better than past efforts. A lucky winner and 3 friends will stay for a night in Airbnb’s latest London listing – a house which floats down the River Thames. The 70-ton home includes 2 bedrooms and even a garden with an apple tree. The floating house, whose somewhat comical address is “Number 1, The Thames”, offers guests a luxury night aboard, with massages, a Michelin-starred dinner, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Of course, there are rules for the winners, such as “no floating house parties”, and “no acts of piracy”. Find out more on Airbnb’s website.
