Vincent Mahé is a French illustrator and designer with many years of experience. The illustrator was approached to create an editorial illustration for the 40th anniversary of Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France. It was made for the use as cover illustration for the Paris Airport corporate journal celebrating the 40th anniversary of its construction. Vincent Mahé illustrated the airport in the form of a round birthday cake, cut and with candles on it. It’s a beautiful work and funny interpretation of the old airport.
