The newest craze to go viral online and across the likes of Facebook and Buzzfeed are the cleverly designed cinemagraphs. The GIF files are made up with a base still image which is set on loop, with a short video sequence played over it to make an object in the picture move. Some of the popular cinemagraphs currently doing the rounds are Christmas lights shimmering in the dark, Mia Wallace smoking a cigarette and an underground train pulling into the station. In commemoration of the cinemagraph’s success, Ladbrokes Casino have had a go at designing their own, all reflecting gaming images.
