NEMO33 was designed by professional diver John Beernaerts, this unique diving center fulfills its purpose for recreation, instruction, and even for the needs of certain film production projects. The massive tubular pool is filled with 2,500,000 liters of non-chlorinated, filtered spring water kept temperate at 86 degrees Fahrenheit, and features two separate flat-bottomed areas with different depths to best simulate open water dive scenarios found in Beernaerts’ native home country of Bora Bora.
