The Geneva Motor Show is in full swing, and the Renegade Hard Steel concept has been unveiled there in recent days. A joint effort by the FCA group including Jeep, Mopar, and the FCA Style Centre, the model, based on the Trailhawk off-roader, has a unique finish, matte black trim and tons of custom Mopar accessories to choose from, as well as a trailer.
The trailer matches the vehicle in style and incorporates the “vitamin-enriched” design, and becomes an “internet hotspot” thanks to the Wi-Fi developed by Mopar, always as an original accessory dedicated to the Renegade. This is the part that we’re most excited about: Renegade’s Uconnect® LIVE infotainment system, with a large touchscreen display which allows streaming content like traffic information (TomTom Live), internet music (Deezer), internet radio (TuneIn) social media (Facebook & Twitter) and news (Reuters).
It’s unclear if the trailer itself will go into production, but the Uconnect® LIVE system will be available from June on the Renegade model.
