Cartier’s Milan Pop-Up Has a Gold Corvette Hanging From the Ceiling
Cartier presents the new Juste un Clou and Écrou de Cartier collections in “When the Ordinary becomes Precious“, a themed design exhibition held at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. A pop up installation at the Garage Sanremo, in the heart of historical Milano, will explore the theme of appropriating everyday hardware elements as jewellery.
The worlds of form and mechanics collude in the Precious Garage exhibition designed for Cartier by New York-based Puerto Rican visual artist Desi Santiago. Known for his scenic performance work, Santiago stages installations shaped by socio-cultural references to the worlds of nightlife and fashion.
