Feel Desain’s latest photographic series comes from the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II arcade in the heart of Milan. The arcade is one of the oldest in the world, and is always bustling with people looking around the designer shops, drinking a coffee with friends, or just passing through.
The selection of stores, many of them by very high-end luxury designers, is almost as impressive as the 19th Century architecture surrounding them, with glass-vaulted arcades and cast iron work. Within the Galleria, stores must adhere to various rules when it comes to their signage, in order to reflect the style of the structure.
This idea of reflections is what inspired our Riflessi series, which shows the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II quite literally through the store signs within it.
