When the New York International Latino Film Festival wanted to get their point across that movies and films are drastically different, they worked with Wing agency in New York to create some hilarious posters that make fun of movies. Simply put, they made movie clichés, graphs and charts that show actions or ideas which are expected or predictable, based on our prior experiences.
La questione che lo staff del “New York International Latino Film Festival” voleva sottolineare era semplice: c’è film e film. Ci sono film che assecondano gli stereotipi di genere e pellicole che invece non lo fanno, risultando originali e – nei casi migliori – innovative. Il messaggio è stato affidato all’agenzia “Wing” di New York.
Il risultato sono una serie di manifesti esilaranti che prendono in giro i film. Grafici e tabelle che mostrano le azioni o le idee attese e prevedibili all’interno della trama, sulla base di esperienze e cliché. Gli art director sono Alvaro Naddeo, Jamie Tao e Xiang Mengwen, mentre i copywriter sono Ruben Salavert e Xoch Serrano.
