Illustrator Steve Berrington has given famous Star Wars robot R2-D2 some super makeovers for this series. The little droid is dressed up as some of the most recognisable superheroes of our times – from Flash to Batman. The artist was asked to illustrate something for a Star Wars forum, but after an amazing response, he went ahead with the rest of the series. You can buy prints of his work here.
