Florida-based comms agency Sachs Media Group teamed up with photo restoration company Phojoe to imagine how musicians — who went to rock n’ roll heaven before their time — might look like if they were still alive today. To be honest, the one of Kurt Cobain doesn’t look too flattering; it looks like he’s had too many takeout dinners.
Musicologists who provided expert insights into the musicians predicted that while Cobain would have continued to stay with Nirvana, he would have also gone on to seek anonymity away from the limelight by exploring less commercial projects on the side. They also said of John Lennon: ‘He would have continued to surprise even his most devoted followers… And yes, he almost certainly would have stayed with Yoko Ono.’ Aw.
