New pieces from the hyperrealistic artist Young-sung Kim.

The talented Korean painter is currently working and living in London and his exhibition is now available at the Waterfall Mansion Gallery. He’s been working for the last two year to a hyperrealistic “animal” series, and its message is very clear.

“By drawing and creating realistically, more than a photo, more than a brand new TV or Monitor More than Real, I give a shock to the people in now a day society, therefore this attitude of my genre can be able to make the people think twice about abusing of their unintentional behaviors towards animals and nature”

His main inspirations comes from nature and city life and social network, but also from big personalities of many different artistic currents as Gottfried Helnwein, Jeff Koons, and Picasso.

As he told us what he’s pursuing is an advanced extreme hyperrealism that precedes any reality, more real than photographs and high-definition monitors, finally, more real than real.
