Facebook has launched a series of TV ads in the UK to show the importance of friendship, using unmistakably Facebook-style terminology to tell the stories of various friendships. The social network giants have also launched a series of billboards which are in line with the TV ads. The campaign is purely emotional, as it doesn’t pick up on any of the site’s features, but perhaps is supposed to make us thankful for the friendships that we can maintain thanks to Facebook.
