Technology in digital colorisation has allowed us to ‘colour in’ images which were originally black and white, bringing them to life and making them seem somehow more believable. Now, NSMBL has created a selection of GIFs showing images become gradually coloured, showing vintage photographs of famous figures as well as unknown people and places go from black and white to full colour.
