We’re almost at the end of our guide to the pavilions at Milan Expo, but there’s still time to tell you about the European Union pavilion. The EU has focused its interactive content centre around their animated film, “The Golden Ear”, which comes to life inside the multimedia special effects theatre and “represents the European DNA through struggle, evolution and resilience”. The main characters of this story, Alex and Sylvia, help to guide visitors through the exhibition and to learn about cultures, traditions, innovation and agriculture within the EU, as well as about the EU’s achievements over the past half century and the challenges it is likely to face in the future. The ground floor of the pavilion is dedicated to the visitor experience, while on the second floor there are conference rooms and offices, and the rooftop area is available for social events.
