Polaroids: Girls & Dreams

She Hit Pause Studios was founded in 2002 by Brooklyn-based Polaroid artist, Matt Schwartz.

Schwartz has been photographing whimsical girls, surfing and travels for the past 7 years. The locations include Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Dominican Republic, Portugal, California, Seattle, Vermont, Virginia Beach, NJ and in his Brooklyn studio.  His work has been described as “walking into a dream.” All of his models are friends or people who have purchased his work.

He has worked with and been featured in Anthropologie, Design Sponge, Daily Candy, W Magazine, New York Magazine, Nylon, Levis, Converse, Billabong, Nylon and countless fashion, art and home décor blogs.
