Galileo – iPhone Remote-control Platform

Created by designers Josh Guyot and JoeBen Bevirt, the device allows you to control the viewing position of an iPhone 4/4S or iPod Touch (4th generation) remotely from your iPad, iPhone, iPod Touchor Web browser. The project popped up on Kickstarter looking for $100,000 in funding and quickly blew past that goal once visitors got a look at the device and the very professional and Apple-esque presentation of the device. Aside from the cool video chat and remote monitoring aspects, this could also be a great way to experiment with telepresence. The device is set to sell for $129.95, but if you back the project now you can snag one for just $85 here. You can check out the video of the Galileo in action in the video below.
