Abbey Road Studios New Identity feel desain Form 7

Almost everyone’s heard of Abbey Road Studios, in a large part thanks to The Beatles, and now the London studios have developed a new identity to reflect the music industry of today. London design studio Form (who has worked on many music branding projects in the past) was given the task of repositioning the brand and creating a new brand identity, which embraces the zebra crossing outside the studios, made famous by John, Paul, Ringo & George back in the ’60s. The new logos are based around a black and white chevron shape, inspired by the crossing, reflecting the parquet flooring present in the studio complex, and also pointing North West to indicate the position of Abbey Road in London. Form also teamed up with graphic artist Patrick Thomas who created some hand-made artworks reflecting the craft ethic running through all of Abbey Road, and which were all of course in theme with the new identity.
